Narrative Development
For this editorial design project, based on the book Children, we were asked to choose one person featured in the publication. The constraints were clear: we could use only one typeface, and the portrait of the chosen person had to be integrated into the design. I selected Le Corbusier and conducted in-depth research into his work, travels, and personality. I decided to focus on his Five Points of Architecture as the central concept of the editorial. Villa Savoye embodies these five principles perfectly. I deconstructed the building and translated its structure into the layout system of the magazine. By printing elements on transparent paper, the complete composition becomes visible when the magazine is closed. As the reader moves through the pages, each of the five points is revealed individually, allowing the architectural concept to unfold step by step.
